Enter to win: Startup Challenge

Have you heard about our recent contest opportunity, the SpringBoard Start Up Challenge? If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur with a great idea, who hasn’t taken the next step toward reaching your goals yet; or a fairly new business owner who could use a little extra cash to market your business, we encourage you to enter.

Winners will have the opportunity to work from SpringBoard and focus on the growth of their respective businesses. This attributes to SpringBoard’s overall mission of promoting economic development in downtown Bellefonte. “It is our hope that, through the awards, they’ll be able to get their business in a place where, someday, they can give back to Bellefonte in the form of becoming permanent businesses within our community,” says Ellen Matis, SpringBoard manager.

Two winning startups will be chosen based on their submission of a thorough and achievable marketing plan. They will be awarded a combined $5,000 in prizes along with their membership to the space. In addition, both winners will receive coaching from representatives from Bellefonte-based agencies, Hello Social Co. (graduated from SpringBoard in January 2019) and 3twenty9 Design, as well as prizes from local businesses. 

Any kind of professional has a place with us at SpringBoard. Business incubators provide a place for you to be the professional running your own business you’ve always dreamed of being, while doing your work in a coworking environment at a fraction of the cost of a traditional office.

Submit your entry by Friday, November 22, at 10 a.m. Winners will be announced by Monday, December 2.
