Distracted working from home? You're not alone.
It’s Tuesday morning. You sit down with a fresh cup of coffee at your desk at home, ready to tackle the day.
… And then the dryer buzzes that laundry is ready to be folded.
… And then a package delivery needs a signature.
… And then the dog barks to alert you that your neighbor is doing yard work.
… And then your kids get home from school.
… And the list goes on, and on, and on, until an entire day has gone by, and your to-do list is left untouched.
We’ve been there.
Working from home isn’t for everyone. While some entrepreneurs and remote workers are able to compartmentalize and separate work from home, even when work is at home, others struggle to find that balance. This contributes to a never-ending cycle of stress and burnout.
Coworking spaces, like SpringBoard in downtown Bellefonte, allow these individuals to get some much needed space to work with some peace and quiet.
What a day at SpringBoard looks like:
Entrepreneurs and remote workers are able to pop-in to SpringBoard at any time by purchasing a day pass online; or by starting a membership to commit to either 2 or 5 days per week of work within the space, located at 221 W. High Street, Suite 1300, in downtown Bellefonte.
Need a little privacy? No problem. Phone calls and meetings can be taken in the conference room, available to all coworkers.
We encourage coworkers to support our local coffee shops and restaurants by bringing takeout to the space; but there’s also a coffee machine ready for use when coworkers are in need of a pick-me-up. And, since a full kitchen is available for use, there’s room to store and prepare your own great lunch (or dinner, if you’re joining us late!).
