Description:

A compelling online presence can help small business owners build their brand, expand their reach, connect with their target audience, and effectively promote their products or services. In this two-part, hands-on workshop, small business owners will learn cost-effective strategies for establishing an online presence that attracts customers and generates sales.

In the 45-minute virtual training session, instructors will share:

  •        An overview of online touchpoints (Google My Business, a business website, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube), including the benefits and target audience for each

  •        How to select the right platform for their goals and audience

  •        Best practices for creating consistent, optimized profiles across multiple platforms

  •        Tips for virtual brand building and audience engagement

  •        How to use platforms to collect valuable data and insights on customer behavior and preferences that can inform future marketing strategies

In the 90-minute follow-up workshop on either April 26 (State College) or April 27 (Bellefonte), experienced marketing professionals will provide personalized guidance to help small business owners secure, set up, and optimize their business profile(s). Attendees will leave having established an engaging and informative presence that makes it easier for potential customers to find their business and learn about their products and services. Attendance at the follow-up session is not required but encouraged to apply the concepts taught in the virtual training.

This is the second session in our 10-part Blueprint marketing series, which is designed to guide entrepreneurs through the process of successfully marketing a small business. Training sessions will be offered live and on-demand. Workshop sessions will be offered live, but guided exercises will be provided for those who are unable to attend.
